Hachioji Textile Project

Hachioji Textile Project 2018 Textile Design Development

The Hachioji Textile Association (6 hatayas) and 20 students studying textiles in the textile design major at Tama Art University collaborated.

Students and a machine shop teamed up to develop new products with the assumption of launching six brands.

We designed and produced fabrics and products that take advantage of the characteristics of Hachioji textiles by adding students' fresh creativity to the technical capabilities supported by a long tradition.
