Runa Takeuchi
A Japanese designer born in 1996.
Working across a wide range of fields including textile, graphic, editorial, and spatial design. Graduated in 2020 from the Department of Product Design, Textile Design Course at Tama Art University.
With a focus on the themes of “two-dimensional and three-dimensional expression” and “the fusion of materials and techniques,” she explores the potential of surface design through diverse methods of expression.
Major clients include Toray Industries, Inc. (Ultrasuede®), Sangetsu Corporation, 52 by HIKARUMATSUMURA, and Takagi Shuta Office LLC.
At Ultrasuede®, she led the creation of collections, developing her work through an experimental approach that incorporates various techniques.
